Philematology
My computer is questioning if this is a word. As you can imagine, this class could be very boring, but learning this word has almost made it worthwhile. I am a little disappointed we didn't talk about this before Valentines, but it still is very timely for me with all the "new love" in the air.
Philemotolgy is the study of kissing. Yes people receive grants and spend tons of money to study kissing. Apparently if you Google the study of kissing one of the newest greatest studies will come up as one of the first. My professor did say he had to edit the content from this study he gave to us to be "G" or "PG". So I am saving you the trouble of looking it up but you still get to know a new really cool word. I am just trying to figure out if there are people who are professional philemotologists and also how I might use this for my thesis.
